Hey =)
Bellydancing performance went pretty well last night... I was really nervous getting changed and at the start of the dance,but then I just focusedon the stage lights and theempty space in the room, pretendedthat me, Maddy (obviously), Ty and Tara were the only ones in the room. I think it went well, except occasionally we were a little slowon a fewmoves, but Ty said that that wasnapos;t noticeable. I enjoyed it, actually - originally I really didnapos;t want todo it, but when I was actually up there it wasgreat (Except I slipped on the hem of my skirt and nearlyfell off the stage, but no one - not even Maddy - noticed.)
The only problem is, Maddyapos;s dance teachernow wants her to go to proper bellydance classes, and is going to lend her some proper bellydance costumes. But the whole POINT was that it was something we were doingbyourselves,forourselves, and we were supposed to have matching costumes for performances. Itapos;s not like I can afford the proper gear for myself. Iapos;m notjealous of Maddy getting a cool costume,butthe whole reason we had the costumeswas so that we would match
Ty and I have work tonight.
Oh, and thanks to myvery very awesomeonline friend from America, I now have the Hannah Fury tracks I wanted thatI canapos;t get my hands onin this country She sent me one yesterday and one todayW00t
Oh,speaking of music, I justremembered - yesterday after the performance, Maddyapos;s dance teacher (cow Iapos;m all grrr with her for patronising me last week) asked what the music was (Dead Is The NewAlive by Emilie Autumn). She said, "Wasit Turkish music?" WTF????
Maddy, who hates beingassociated with anything Goth (kind of like apetite, preppy AndrewEldritch, except without the band), mumbled, "Itapos;s a kind of rock."
Lolz....

Darkest wishes,
Grey
